Services

We are proud of our solid reputation and the expert advice we deliver.

Our clients come to us for help with a range of surveying and planning projects including resource consents, cadastral surveying, topographic surveying, engineering design, geotechnical engineering, and land development.

Engineering Design

One of the most vital elements to any construction project is engineering.

The Terra Vision team has the experience and qualifications to lead engineering design work including, but not limited to, roading, car parking, hardstand areas, and subsurface drainage.

As well as ensuring levels and gradients are correct, we also provide ‘as-built’ drawings, so clients, councils, and other stakeholders have a sound understanding of what work has been carried out. With the Terra Vision team on your side, you can feel rest assured knowing all steps have been assessed in detail.

We also have strong relationships with civil engineering consultancies.

Planning

We plan and prepare resource consent applications, and land use consents.

For anyone inexperienced in this field, the paperwork and coordination required can be a huge challenge and very time consuming. The Terra Vision team will take the hassle out of completing these tasks by managing the whole process while keeping you in the loop (and using terminology which is easy to decipher). Thanks to our positive relationships with the council, we are able to carry this out fast and efficiently.

Surveying

Terra Vision specialises in a range of surveying services which will often interlap during a development process.

Land surveying and cadastral surveying is a requirement for anyone looking to develop new property (including subdivisions) or extend existing properties. Before starting a development, it is important that boundaries are accurate, and land titles include all relevant information. The process reviews positioning and how connections, such as power and water, will be implemented and considers any other interests and restrictions on the property such as caveats and easements.

Topographic Surveying is used to formulate a site survey which architects and engineers use when mapping out drawings. A topographic survey will also address any potentially problematic areas such as underground services, easements, or flooding areas. The site survey can be shared with other professionals to ensure everyone is on the same page and the vision is clear. We use GPS technology for accurate recording and efficient mapping when dealing with large, rural sites.

When buying and selling property it is important to have a solid understanding of any issues that may arise during the process. Examples of this could include misaligned boundaries or unconsented structural work. You may also want to know what can be done with an existing property, like subdividing or extending. We can prepare a report so you know every detail and can make informed decisions.

Project management

The most logical person to project manage your urban subdivision is a surveyor.

We know the ins and outs of every phase, including the vital documentation which needs to be completed to move forward. Terra Vision are experts in project management and can confidently lead the process from beginning to end. We can also assist with resource consents, land development, and commercial projects. By liaising with all parties involved, we push projects along smoothly and provide timely updates.
